Dixie Packaging is custom manufacturer of flexible packaging products including but not limited to bags, single and double wound sheeting, tubing, and wickets bags. Products can be perforated on rolls or separated in cases. We offer one color random repeat printing, gusseted bags, tint and opaque colors, vents, FDA food grade bottom seal, slit seal and side seal products. All bags are made from low density polyethylene resins.

In Business Since 1994

Dixie Packaging, located on Dixie Springs Road north of Summit, opened its doors in September of 1994. The company was started by Barry Hart, Jerry Robison, Kent Welch, and Tommy Hart after they had all worked several years in the plastic industry. The expertise they had developed and the willingness to branch out on their own, led them to start their own manufacturing plant of polyethylene bags and film. In the beginning, Dixie Packaging started with 15 full time employees. It has grown into a thriving small business that currently employs well over 40 employees.
